"Right Time, Right Place" is a site-specific work emerging from diverse locations and presented together in one garden, inspired by the sonic and physical experience of travelling. The journey for this work began 11,000 km away in Bogor, Indonesia, where the constant soundscape, particularly the horn speakers attached to mosques and temples, captured my awareness. This was an unavoidable, perpetually present sound, amplifying voices meant to be heard. My curiosity about the horn speaker led me to research it further, which took me to the Czech Republic where I could observe and listen to the function and information about the horn speaker in that specific place.
